Phone technology corporation OPPO newly showcased its OPPO X
2021 idea phone with a rollable and expandable display in the UAE.
It came a few months later the global unveiling of the phone
at the OPPO Inno Day 2020 occasion held in Shenzhen last November.
As a result, it leads to a nonstop variable OLED display
that measures as small as 6.7 inches and as large as 7.4 inches when fully
expanded. The phone can be expanded by siding your finger over the control
button.
OPPO has tried to ensure that resolution of the display does
not suffer when it is either extended or retracted. The phone therefore
reportedly has resolution specification of a maximum of 1785×2592 and a minimum
of 1175×2592.
When using public media apps, the Parallel Spaces Mode on
the OPPO X 2021 automatically displays messages and your content feed over dual
screen.
The device features a scroll-like, stretchy display that
removes the “hard folding” typically related with foldable smartphones.
Moreover, the phone structures two Spot TOF 3D cameras that
lend the bokeh result on photos and videos while supporting basic exposure of
AR indoors. OPPO says that in the upcoming, these will enable the phone to be
used for joint AR/VR features.
OPPO has yet to approve any dates on when this device will
make it to market or potential prices of it.
