UAE introduced the first day of the holy month of Ramadan after the crescent used to be sighted on Thursday evening, Wam reported.
Ramadan will be start on April 24 (Friday) in the UAE.
Earlier, in accordance to a tweet with the aid of Astronomy Center, the moon was once photographed on Thursday at 12.02pm from Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah.
